Johns Creek - Stormwater Management

The Fulton County Tax Commissioner is responsible for the collection of Stormwater Utility Fees for the City of Johns Creek, Georgia. The Stormwater Utility Fee is a user fee and not a tax. Consider the following in regards to this fee:

• All property owners will pay the fee - residential homeowners, commercial properties, churches/religious institutions, nonprofit organizations, government and schools, etc.

• The fees charged are based on the property's contribution to the need for Stormwater management

• All users of the system pay to use the program

• All collected fees are spent only on operating and administering the Stormwater management program

• Fee rate structures were determined by the City of Johns Creek and questions regarding rates should be directed to the City at (678) 512-3200 or email

• Stormwater Utility bills must be paid in full by the due date. A 10% late fee will be charged on the day after the due date. Additionally, interest in the amount of one percent (1%) per calendar month shall accrue on all unpaid amounts beginning on December 1 of the year in which the payment is due.( For 2022, the due date is August 31 therefore penalty will be assessed on September 1 and interest will begin on December 1.)
